The PSPG Contingent, composed of 23 RPSPU-6 personnel and 2 TOC personnel from HPSPG, has officially and successfully concluded the Protective Security Operation (PSO) in line with the security coverage conducted by the Site Task Group (STG) Boracay of PRO6 during the 3rd ASEAN Digital Ministers Meeting (ADGMIN) and Other-related Meetings held in Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan from February 3-12, 2023. Seventeen (17) Security Officers (SOs) from this Unit, in tandem with seventeen (17) Close-In Security personnel from Aklan PPO, have provided protective security services to fifteen (15) Heads of Delegation composed of Digital and Information Technology Ministers/Secretary from ASEAN member-states (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao DPR, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines) and its Dialogue Partners from the US, Japan, South Korea, China, Int’l Telecommunication Union (UN Body) and ASEAN SecGen. Ministers from India and Myanmar have not attended the said event. The activity ended successfully and attained the “zero incident and zero casualty” throughout the duration of the event. Further, RPSPU6 personnel involved in the security coverage has returned to base in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo around 7PM of February 12, 2023 with no untoward incident happened. #PSPG:ServiceFirst!
