








On March 8, 2023, the PSPG Training Staff led by PMAJ JACKSON B CASES under the supervision of PBGEN ANTONIO C YARRA, conducted its Graded Physical Exercises (GPX) on the 60 VIPSPC Students at the PNP Transformation Oval Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.
This GPX is practiced to test the flexibility, stamina, and mindset of the students on how they will react to the scenarios given. It is the last part of the VIP Security and Protection Course (VIPSPC) wherein the students will have to apply the skills that they have learned in different situations like attacks during embussing, debussing, walking formation, ambuscades.
The VIPSPC is the foundation course of PSPG personnel authorized to be deployed as Protective Security Personnel (PSP) or Bodyguard in layman’s term. The 45-Day VIPSPC also includes training on swimming, firing or shooting, protective security drills, protective intelligence, first aid treatment, and even Pekiti-Tirsia Kali self-defense in case that a firearm is not available.
The PSPG conducts regular VIPSPC to ensure that its personnel are competent and continuously aim to intensify knowledge and skills in so as to counter and be level ahead of private armed groups.
The students of VIPSPC Class Number 10-2022 (121) is scheduled to graduate on March 17, 2023.
